Dear Winning West Principals,
Region West Operations looks forward to meeting with you on Thursday, August 27, 206, via Zoom for the first Principals' Meeting - Operations of the 2026-27 school year. The meeting will be held from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM. The agenda is linked below. This is a required meeting. Zoom link https://bit.ly/PrincipalsOperationalMeeting .
The agenda includes Welcome, Featured Departmental Updates, Staff Relations, Attendance, Operations Updates (ESS Module Review), and Network Breakouts by Operations Coordinator.
Please email your Operations Coordinator with any questions. Please have a charged device and be prepared to participate in your assigned network breakout. Thanks for all you do.

Meeting Expectations:
This meeting is required for all principals and, due to the content, is for principals only. To be sure we are able to fully engage with the content and the presenters, please log in by 9am and we ask that your camera remain on for the duration of the meeting. Breaks will be provided. We understand that school activities will pull your attention; therefore, we recommend that you establish a designee to support your school during the meeting. Principals are also required to complete the monthly evaluation form provided at the close of the meeting.

Region West Operations is launching its monthly Principal's Meeting - Operations for the 2026-27 school year. These monthly Zoom sessions are designed to align school-site operational practice with the District's 2026-30 Strategic Plan, Instructional Priorities, and Core Beliefs of Equity, Collaboration, and Excellence, and to equip school leaders with the knowledge, resources, and tools needed to maintain safe, welcoming, and well-managed learning environments. As we Level Up in 2026–2027, we look forward to meeting with you to engage in learning and collaborate around the LAUSD Strategic Plan and Region West priorities. Please note that our monthly principals’ meetings are now half-day, and it is the expectation that principals return to their school sites at the conclusion of the meeting.
Operations updates will be held virtually and are on our Region West calendar. Invites for those meetings will be sent separately.
Breakfast will be served, and we ask that you bring a charged device. We will provide any other updates, including the agenda, prior to each meeting in our Tuesday/Thursday update and/or Weekly Newsletter. Please email your Regional Director with any questions.
