Hello!

We’re thrilled to announce the Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Symposium, a specialized two-day training designed to support CCEIS credentialed staff who are interested in learning more information about effective behavior support and strategies. This paid training provides evidence based tools and practical strategies for behavior support across various educational settings.

Event Details

Dates & Location:

• Day 1: April 18- South East High School, 2720 Tweedy Blvd, South Gate, CA 90280
• Day 2: June 6– South East High School, 2720 Tweedy Blvd, South Gate, CA 90280

Each day of training runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch. You will receive 6 hours of training rate pay ($50 per hour) for each Saturday session attended. To qualify for payment, you must attend from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What You’ll Learn:

• Day 1: Techniques for Preventing and Responding to Challenging Behavior

·       Day 2: Keynote Speakers Lauren Kenworthy, Unstuck and On Target!,  and Morgan van Diepen, Behavior Essentials, Visualized, Executive Functioning, Social-Emotional Learning Strategies & Evidence Based Practices

Note: Day 1 and Day 2 can be attended independently—no prerequisites!
