Greetings Region West High School Staff,
We are excited to announce LA Unified’ s Commitment Day 2025 Event taking place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Event details:
•Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
•Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025.
•Time: 9:00AM – 1:00PM.
•Transportation: Hubs (school-sites) will be available by region to transport students/families to the event. Please note that all students/families riding the bus to the event must return with the bus at the conclusion of Commitment Day.
•Chaperones: 2 chaperones will be required by school site – if riding the bus. Chaperones must be certificated staff (teacher, counselor, administrator). Chaperones will be compensated at their hourly rate.
•Lunch and SWAG will be provided to all Class of 2025 Seniors attending the event.
Our Class of 2025 Seniors have worked incredibly hard throughout their high school career and their achievements are a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and talent. We are proud of all they’ve accomplished and are excited to see them take the next step in their journey.
Below is the link to indicate whether your site is interested in taking a school bus to the event. As mentioned above, each region will have hubs to provide transportation to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Good afternoon, Region West HS Counseling Teams,
We have some thrilling news to share—LAUSD is rolling out its very first Districtwide Commitment/College Signing Day! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10, at the iconic LA Memorial Coliseum, located at 3911 S. Figueroa St, LA 90037.
But that’s not all! To kick off the day, we’re hosting a vibrant 5K Run in the morning, perfect for everyone to get moving and energized! 🏃♂️💨 Be sure to register for both the 5K and Signing Day through the convenient QR code provided. And don’t worry about transportation—LAUSD will have designated bus hub locations to help our students and families make it to this fantastic celebration.
This event is an incredible opportunity to launch the journey for our Class of 2025! Let’s come together and make this a day to remember.
