The set-up and breakdown of the cafeteria will be done by Robotics Club/Computer Science Honors Society Students throughout the day. ASB was also kind in helping with set-up, breakdown, and in guiding teams from the parking lot to the event venue.
Last year, Mrs. Drake had her ASB students sell burgers/snacks/drinks to attendees. We can expect about 500 people to be at the event this year.
As our event has grown, it has become very difficult to host it in the cafeteria. We, the Computer Science Club Advisors, would like to request permission to use the big him for this event on the 4 dates stated above. This would allow for a much better experience for all those attending and in turn paint us in a better light to the students/parents who are considering Fairfax as their future school. It would certainly provide a better platform for recruitment of prospective students. Please let us know if we can have the use of the big gym for the event. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Best regards,
